Rivalry week!  We are blessed with intriguing games in more ways than one.  It’s not just about the Apple Cup, but Washington and Wazzu play for a spot in the Pac-12 championship game.  And we can’t forget about the Mountain West conference, which features an awesome Saturday game between Utah State and Boise State.  How about Florida and Florida State, will the Seminoles extend their bowl streak to 37 straight seasons?  Several interesting games for Week 13 College Football, with the opening spreads in bold and the current number to the right.  We also take a look at Week 12 NFL opening point spreads, as well!

*Washington State opened up as a short 2-point favorite over at BetOnline.ag, before moving out to 3.5.  The Cougars have been red-hot, with QB Gardner Minshew leading this potent offensive attack.  Washington has 3 losses by a combined 10-points, and have a chance to steal the Pac-12 North with an upset victory Friday night.

*In a game that will grab the most eyeballs Saturday, the Buckeyes host Michigan and were installed 2.5-point underdogs, before moving through the key number of 3 and out to 4.  The winner of this game has a chance (Michigan more so) to represent the Big 10 in the College Football Playoff.  Ohio State went into the Big House last year and won 31-20.

*After Alabama’s slow start against Citadel tied 10-10 at the break failing to cover the 42-point first half spread, the Crimson Tide turned it on, outscoring the Bulldogs 40-7 in the 2nd half.  Now they enter the Iron Bowl as a 24.5-point favorite over Auburn.  The last time Auburn won in Tuscaloosa was 2010, when Cam Newton mounted an improbable 28-27 comeback win.

*In what is now a pivotal NFC East game, Dallas opened 6-point favorites at home against the Redskins.  Washington lost Alex Smith to a season ending leg fracture, and Colt McCoy will be starting in his place back at home in Texas, that’s partly why this line has shot to 7.5.  Meanwhile, Dallas kicked a game-winning field goal to upset the Falcons in Atlanta this past week.

*With an NFC wildcard spot on the line, the Seahawks travel to Carolina off of their 3-point victory against the Packers Thursday night.  Carolina failed on a 2-point conversion attempt and lost at Detroit, now they need a home victory to gain a leg up on Seattle in the NFC playoff race.
