*Memphis and UCF played a thrilling game earlier this year in Memphis, which resulted in a 31-30 Central Florida victory.  Now, with quarterback Mackenzie Milton out for the Knights, we’ve seen this line drop from the key number of 7 down to 5/4.5 across the market.  UCF closed a 5.5-point road favorite versus Memphis earlier this season.

*Part two of the Red River rivalry this Saturday, as Oklahoma looks for revenge from their early season loss to Texas; a game in which their furious 4th quarter rally fell just short. opened the Sooners 10-point favorites, but early Longhorns money drove the line down to 7.5.  Oklahoma closed a 7.5-point favorite on a neutral field in the first matchup earlier this season.

*Georgia and Alabama square off again after last years thrilling national championship game, with the Crimson Tide opening 13-point favorites across the market.  Alabama handled Auburn last week, winning and covering 52-21.  Meanwhile, Georgia won 45-21 against their in-state rival, Georgia Tech.  With a trip to the College Football Playoff on the line, will this line see resistance if it ticks up to -14?

Northern Illinois @ Buffalo (-3.5, -4)

UAB @ Middle Tennessee State (-1.5, -2.5 )

UL Lafayette @ Appalachian State (-19, -17.5)

*The Chargers travel east to take on the Pittsburgh Steelers, which could preview a future AFC playoff matchup.  The Chargers are 8-3, and now cannot afford another loss if they plan on taking down the Chiefs in the West division.  The Steelers suffered their third loss of the season at Denver, and opened up a 3.5-point home favorite.  Melvin Gordon’s status will certainly have an impact on this number, so keep an eye on that.

*Minnesota opened 7-point underdogs to New England early Sunday night, before playing their home game against Green Bay.  On the look-ahead lines, the Patriots were -6, and off their road win and cover (devastating to the sports books), they moved out to the second most important number in football.  This is a must win game for the Vikings if they would like to be a part of the playoffs again this season.
