From the Bristol Dirt to one of the most unique tracks in the series at Martinsville, we’re back to short track racing.  Affectionately referred to as the Paperclip, Martinsville Speedway is just .526 miles in length and the shortest track NASCAR visits for a points paying race.  The surface in Ridgeway, VA also poses other challenges to drivers considering it’s the only oval track on the entire NASCAR circuit to have asphalt on the straightaways with concrete concrete covering the turns.
